     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">La classification du trafic réseau est un domaine de recherche qui stimule le développement de diverses applications dans le contexte de gestion des réseaux. De nombreuses études dans ce domaine ont porté sur la classification du trafic réseau en différentes activités uniques. Cependant, la multiplication des services et des appareils connectés sur internet a donné lieu à l’émergence de nouveaux modes de consommation, comme le multitâche numérique (ou multi-activités), qui consiste à effectuer plusieurs activités simultanément. Reconnaître l’occurrence de ces situations de multi-activité peut permettre aux opérateurs de réseaux de mieux adapter leurs solutions de gestion de réseaux et aux fournisseurs de services de concevoir des solutions mieux adaptées aux exigences des utilisateurs. Dans cette thèse, nous proposons une nouvelle approche qui peut traiter un scénario comprenant à la fois des situations d’activité unique et de multi-activité. L’approche proposée analyse une trace de réseau sur une fenêtre temporelle et détermine ensuite à quel type de situation elle appartient. En outre, elle identifie le type d’activités réalisées et les applications utilisées. Les résultats obtenus sont équivalents, et dépassent souvent, ceux des techniques classiques de l’état de l’art qui ne traitent qu’une seule activité.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Network traffic classification is a research field that stimulates the development of various applications in the domain of network management. Many studies in this field have focused on classifying network traffic into different single activities. However, the proliferation of services and devices connected to the internet has given rise to new modes of consumption, such as media multitasking (or multi-activity), which consists of performing several activities simultaneously. Recognizing the occurrence of these multi-activity situations can enable network operators to better tailor their network management solutions and service providers to design solutions that are better suited to user requirements. In this thesis, we propose a new approach that can handle scenarios comprising both single-activity and multi-activity situations. The proposed approach analyzes a network trace over a time window and then determines to which situation type it belongs. Furthermore, it identifies the type of activities being performed and applications being used. The results obtained are equivalent to, and often exceed, those of conventional state-of-the-art techniques that only handle a single activity.</dcterms:abstract>
