     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les matériaux quantiques corrélés présentent des transitions de phase complexes où interagissent fortement degrés électroniques et structuraux. L’excitation optique ultrarapide permet d’accéder à ces dynamiques fondamentales et de tester de nouveaux leviers de contrôle. Cette thèse explore deux axes principaux : l’effet de la pression et celui de la dimensionnalité. Dans V₂O₃, prototype d’isolant de Mott, des expériences pompe-sonde sous pression révèlent la génération de phonons cohérents dont fréquence et temps de vie évoluent fortement à travers la transition métal–isolant. Ces oscillations structurales constituent des traceurs sensibles de l’état électronique et confirment l’importance du couplage électron-réseau. Dans un second axe, des hétérostructures constituées de nanotubes de carbone (CNT) et de nitrure de bore (BNNT) ont été étudiées par spectroscopie ultrarapide et diffraction électronique femtoseconde. Les résultats mettent en évidence un transfert de charge inter-couche ultrarapide, suivi d’une relaxation structurale marquée par une expansion inter-tubes, révélant le rôle clé de la dimensionnalité et du couplage électron– phonon. Enfin, des travaux exploratoires sur EDO-TTF, un système organique présentant des transitions structurales complexes, complètent l’étude et ouvrent des perspectives sur la diversité des matériaux corrélés accessibles par ces approches. L’ensemble de ces résultats démontre que la combinaison de pression, de confinement dimensionnel et de sondes ultrarapides constitue une voie efficace pour comprendre et contrôler les dynamiques hors équilibre dans les matériaux corrélés.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Correlated quantum materials exhibit complex phase transitions where electronic and structural degrees of freedom strongly interact. Ultrafast optical excitation provides access to these fundamental dynamics and offers new pathways for control. This thesis investigates two main aspects: the role of pressure and the role of dimensionality. In V₂O₃, a prototype Mott insulator, pump–probe experiments under pressure reveal the generation of coherent phonons whose frequency and lifetime evolve markedly across the metal–insulator transition. These structural oscillations act as sensitive tracers of the electronic state and highlight the importance of electron– lattice coupling. In a second axis, heterostructures combining carbon nanotubes (CNT) and boron nitride nanotubes (BNNT) were studied by ultrafast spectroscopy and femtosecond electron diffraction. The results demonstrate an ultrafast interlayer charge transfer followed by structural relaxation characterized by inter-tube expansion, revealing the key role of dimensionality and electron–phonon coupling. Finally, exploratory work on EDO-TTF, an organic system with complex structural transitions, complements the study and opens perspectives on the diversity of correlated materials accessible with these approaches. Altogether, these results demonstrate that combining pressure, dimensional confinement, and ultrafast probes is an effective route to understand and control out-of-equilibrium dynamics in correlated materials.</dcterms:abstract>
