     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Ce manuscrit de thèse s’inscrit dans domaine de la chimie supramoléculaire appliquée aux architectures π-fonctionnelles. Il explore deux axes complémentaires. Le premier concerne la stabilisation de bisphosphoniums polyaromatiques plans, qui sont des composés électro-actifs fluorescents, dans des structures mécaniquement imbriquées de type rotaxane. Cette encapsulation vise à prolonger la durée de vie des espèces réduites de ces bisphosphoniums. Plusieurs familles de précurseurs de macrocycles riches en électrons ont été préparés mais n’ont pas présenté de reconnaissance moléculaire en solution vis-à-vis des axes bisphosphoniums. Notre savoir-faire dans la synthèse de bisphosphoniums a également été mise à profit pour la conception de bisphosphoniums hélicoïdaux, appelés phosphoniums-hélicènes. La structure hélicoïdale des composés confère à leurs formes énantiopures des  propriétés chiroptiques et notamment une capacité à émettre de la luminescence circulairement polarisée. Le second volet du travail est dédié à la modulation des propriétés spectroscopiques de foldamères par autoassemblage en double hélice. Deux foldamères complémentaires à base d’oligopyridines-dicarboxamides greffées par des mérocyanines ont été synthétisés. Cette étude pluridisciplinaire vise à la conception de matériaux intelligents, fonctionnels et potentiellement utiles en électronique organique, photonique ou bio-imagerie.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">This thesis manuscript falls within the field of supramolecular chemistry applied architectures. It to π-functional explores two complementary approaches. The first focuses on the stabilization of planar polyaromatic bisphosphoniums, which are fluorescent compounds, within electroactive mechanically interlocked structures such as rotaxanes. This encapsulation aims to extend the lifetime of the reduced species of these bisphosphoniums. A series of electron rich macrocycle precursors were prepared but did not show molecular recognition in solution toward the bisphosphonium axles. Our expertise in bisphosphonium synthesis was also   leveraged   for  the   design   of  helical bisphosphoniums, known as phosphonium helicenes. The helical structure of these compounds gives to their enantiopure forms chiroptical properties, and notably an ability to emit circularly polarized luminescence. The second part of this work is dedicated to the modulation of the spectroscopic properties of foldamers through self-assembly into double helices. Two complementary foldamers based on oligopyridine-dicarboxamides grafted with synthesized. merocyanines were This multidisciplinary study aims at the design of smart, functional materials with potential applications in organic electronics, photonics, or bioimaging.</dcterms:abstract>
