     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">L’analyse microbiologique est essentielle pour garantir la sécurité sanitaire dans des secteurs sensibles comme l’agroalimentaire, la cosmétique ou la pharmaceutique. Elle repose encore largement sur des méthodes manuelles, notamment le comptage et la classification des colonies sur boîtes de Petri. Ce travail est long, fastidieux et sujet à erreurs dues à la variabilité des colonies, aux chevauchements ou aux artefacts visuels. Les algorithmes traditionnels montrent rapidement leurs limites. Les techniques récentes d’IA ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives pour automatiser ces tâches avec plus de précision et de robustesse. Cette thèse s’inscrit dans cette dynamique en proposant deux axes complémentaires : l’utilisation de réseaux neuronaux avancés (CNN, ViT) pour détecter et classifier automatiquement les colonies microbiennes, et la génération d’images synthétiques via modèles de Diffusion afin d’enrichir les bases de données et améliorer les performances en conditions réelles. En combinant rigueur scientifique, expérimentations sur données réelles et solutions concrètes, ce travail contribue à moderniser l’analyse microbiologique et ouvre la voie à des systèmes plus fiables, rapides et adaptés aux besoins industriels.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Microbiological analysis is essential to ensure safety in sensitive sectors such as food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. It still largely relies on manual methods, notably counting and classifying colonies on Petri dishes. This work is time-consuming, tedious, and prone to errors due to colony variability, overlaps, or visual artifacts. Traditional algorithms quickly reach their limits. Recent AI techniques offer new opportunities to automate these tasks with greater accuracy and robustness. This thesis contributes to this field through two complementary approaches: using advanced neural networks (CNN, ViT) to automatically detect and classify microbial colonies, and generating synthetic images via Diffusion models to enrich datasets and improve performance in real-world conditions. By combining scientific rigor, experiments on real data, and practical solutions, this work helps modernize microbiological analysis and paves the way for more reliable, faster, and industryadapted systems</dcterms:abstract>
