L’asthme allergique est la conséquence d’une réaction excessive du système immunitaire pouvant entraîner une obstruction bronchique réversible ainsi que des symptômes respiratoires invalidants. Ce manuscrit de thèse présente tout d’abord la physiopathologie de l’asthme allergique et son épidémiologie. La deuxième partie de ce travail se concentre sur les différents types d’hypersensibilités et les manifestations cliniques des allergies. Enfin la troisième partie présente les différents anticorps monoclonaux utilisés dans la prise en charge de l’asthme allergique, leurs mécanismes d’actions, leurs indications et leurs effets indésirables. Il s’agit d’un état des lieux sur ces nouvelles biothérapies ainsi que sur leur efficacité dans le traitement de l’asthme allergique. Asthma, the most common chronic inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract, affects patients of all ages and backgrounds. Allergic asthma is the result of an excessive reaction of the immune system that can lead to reversible bronchial obstruction and debilitating respiratory symptoms. This thesis manuscript first presents the pathophysiology of allergic asthma and its epidemiology. The second part of this work focuses on the different types of hypersensitivity and the clinical manifestations of allergies. Finally, the third part presents the various monoclonal antibodies used in the management of allergic asthma, their mechanisms of action, their indications, and their adverse effects. This article provides an overview of these new biotherapies and their effectiveness in the treatment of allergic asthma.
