Face aux défis croissants des déserts médicaux et à la nécessité de rationaliser l’usage des antibiotiques, le pharmacien d’officine apparaît comme un acteur clé dans l’amélioration de la prise en charge de ces infections. Cette thèse explore le rôle du pharmacien dans le dépistage et la gestion des cystites simples, notamment grâce à l’utilisation des Tests Rapides d’Orientation Diagnostique (TRODs) urinaires. Ces tests, permettant de détecter a minima la nitriturie et la leucocyturie, apparaissent comme un outil précieux afin d’orienter la prise en charge et limiter le recours systématique aux antibiotiques. Ce travail met en lumière les avantages d’une prise en charge rapide et adaptée en officine. Il souligne notamment la diminution des consultations médicales inutiles, la limitation du recours inapproprié aux antibiotiques et l’amélioration du confort des patientes. En résumé, cette approche contribue à une optimisation du parcours de soins. Urinary tract infections, and in particular uncomplicated cystitis, are a frequent reason for consultation with general practitioners. Faced with the growing challenges of medical deserts and the need to rationalize the use of antibiotics, the dispensing pharmacist is emerging as a key player in improving the management of these infections. This thesis explores the pharmacist's role in the detection and management of uncomplicated cystitis, notably through the use of urinary Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs). These tests, which detect a minimum of nitrituria and leukocyturia, appear to be a valuable tool for guiding management and limiting the systematic use of antibiotics. This study highlights the advantages of rapid, appropriate management in the pharmacy. In particular, it reduces unnecessary medical consultations, limits inappropriate use of antibiotics and improves patient comfort. In short, this approach contributes to optimizing the care pathway.
