     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">L’objectif de ce travail de thèse est la fonctionnalisation et l’application du cluster closo-décahydrido-décaborate dans des réactions innovantes de substitutions promues par le palladium et des transfor-mations catalysées par le fer. Dans la première partie de ce travail, une voie de synthèse efficace et générale pour la synthèse de phosphines substituées par un cluster closo-décahydrido-décaborate a été mise au point par substitution de l’iode apical du cluster [N(n-C4H9)4]2[1-B10H9I] par une phosphine tertiaire pour conduire sélectivement au cluster mono-anionique [N(n-C4H9)4][1-B10H9PR3]. Cette réaction est promue par des complexes de Pd(0)- phosphine Pd(PR3)n (R = alkyl, aryl) dans des conditions douces (50°C) avec des rendements jusqu’à 90%. Ces nouveaux clusters phosphine borate ont été entièrement caractérisés notamment par diffractions RX. Cette partie représente un exemple supplémentaire de modifications efficaces du cluster closo-decahydrido-decaborate. Dans une seconde partie, une série de complexes originaux de fer [FeL₃][B₁₀H₁₀] ont été synthétisés et entièrement caractérisés à partir de sels FeX2, du cluster [NEt3H]2[B₁₀H₁₀] et de ligands azohétérocycliques [1,10-phénanthroline, 2,2’-bipyridydine, 4,7-diméthyl-1,10-phé-nanthroline, 2,9-diméthyl-1,10-phénan-throline, 5-nitro-1,10-phénanthroline, 5-amino-1,10-phénanthroline et 4,4-diméthyl-2,2-bipyridine. Les propriétés cataly-tiques de ces complexes ont été ensuite étudiées, notamment dans le réactions d’homo-couplage de dérivés benzylamines en imines. Le rôle crucial du dianion [B₁₀H₁₀] a été démontré, permettant ainsi de mettre en lumière l’association fer/dianion [B₁₀H₁₀] en catalyse.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">This research PhD work deals with the functionalization and applications of the closo-decahydrido-decaborate cluster, through novel palladium mediated substitution and iron catalyzed reactions. In a first part, an efficient synthetic route for the preparation of phosphine substituted the closo-decahydrido-decaborate cluster by the substitution of apical iodine in [N(n-C4H9)4]2[1-B10H9I] with tertiary phosphine ligands was selectively achieved in apical position, leading to the monoanionic cluster [N(n-C4H9)4][1-B10H9PR3]. This reaction was promoted by Pd(0) phosphine complexes Pd(PR3)n (R = alkyl, aryl) at a mild temperature (50°C) with high yields up to 90%. These new phosphine borate clusters were fully characterized notably by X-ray crystal diffraction. This work provides an additional example of efficient synthetic routes for modifying closo-decahy-drido-decaborate clusters. In a second part, a series of original iron based complexes, [FeL₃][B₁₀H₁₀] were synthesized and fully characterized starting from [NEt3H]2[B₁₀H₁₀] cluster FeX2 salts, and azoheterocyclic ligands [1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2’- bipyridydine, 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline, 5-ami-no-1,10-phenanthroline and 4,4-di-methyl-2,2-bipyridine. The catalytic properties of these complexes were then investigated, notably for the efficient homo-coupling of benzylamine deri-vatives leading to the corresponding imines. This result highlighted the crucial and efficient association iron/[B₁₀H₁₀]2- in catalytic transformations.</dcterms:abstract>
