     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Cette thèse présente des spectres à haute résolution de l’éthylène entre 1.6 et 1.7 μm obtenus par spectroscopie par temps de déclin d’une cavité optique dans des expansions supersoniques. Ces conditions de refroidissement en jet conduisent à un régime fortement hors-équilibre, permettant de mesurer des spectres rotationnellement froids en affectant peu la température vibrationnelle initiale. Trois spectres en jet de l’éthylène ont d’abord été enregistrés depuis un réservoir à température ambiante, en utilisant une fente à ouverture réglable conçue au laboratoire. Ensuite, des jets hypersoniques ont été produits avec une tuyère de Laval en graphite couplée à une source haute enthalpie, portant la température de stagnation à 650 et 850 K, en conservant une basse température rotationnelle, pour détecter les bandes chaudes. Les spectres et ont été analysées en détail grâce aux prédictions TheoReTS et aux relations de combinaison de différence de l’état fondamental. Le modèle théorique a été amélioré itérativement pour augmenter le nombre d’identifications. A ce jour, 838 transitions ont été attribuées dans 23 bandes froides et 218 dans 5 bandes chaudes. L’analyse des spectres enregistrés avec les plus hautes températures rotationnelle et de stagnation devrait permettre d’attribuer davantage de transitions dans les bandes froides et chaudes de l’éthylène. Ce travail fournit des données spectroscopiques haute résolution pour l’éthylène à des températures pertinentes pour les atmosphères des Jupiters tièdes et chauds.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">This thesis presents high-resolution cavity ring-down spectra of jet-cooled ethylene in the 1.6 – 1.7 μm region. Supersonic cooling generates a strong non-LTE regime, resulting in a very low rotational temperature, while the initial vibrational temperature of the molecules is poorly affected. First, ethylene spectra were recorded at three different rotational temperatures from an ambient stagnation temperature, using an in-house adjustable-width slit nozzle to detect cold bands transitions. Next, hypersonic jets were produced using a graphite Laval nozzle coupled to a high-enthalpy source to increase the stagnation temperature to 650 and 850 K while maintaining a low rotational temperature, to unveil hot bands transitions. The line positions and intensities of the spectra were analyzed in detail on the basis of TheoReTS predictions and Lowest State Combination Difference relationships. An iterative refinement of the theoretical model was performed to progressively enhance the transition identifications through line-by-line attributions. To date, 838 absorption lines have been assigned to 23 cold bands and 218 lines to 5 hot bands. Further analysis of the spectra recorded under the highest rotational temperature and highest stagnation temperature conditions is expected to bring even more line assignments for ethylene cold and hot bands. This study provides new high-resolution spectroscopic data for ethylene at temperatures relevant to the atmospheres of warm and hot Jupiters.</dcterms:abstract>
