     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les futures générations de satellites de télécommunication doivent répondre à la possibilité de relocaliser dynamiquement les ressources embarquées dans le temps et l'espace. Les antennes actives à rayonnement direct sont considérées comme les candidates idéales pour répondre à ces nouveaux besoins. Toutefois, leurs architectures ouvrent de nouveaux défis en matière de conception d'antennes.  L'objectif principal de cette thèse est d'étudier et de développer des formateurs de faisceaux quasi-optiques capables d'alimenter avec de multiples faisceaux et sur de larges champs de vision un grand nombre d'éléments rayonnants tout en maintenant la complexité et la consommation d'énergie à des niveaux acceptables. Des outils hautes fréquences sont développés pour analyser les formateurs de faisceau quasi-optiques basés sur des miroirs façonnés et intégrés à l’intérieur d’un empilement de guides d'ondes à plaques parallèles. Ces outils permettent de synthétiser des formateurs de faisceaux quasi-optiques à double miroirs adressant de larges secteurs angulaires. Ces formateurs sont ensuite mis en œuvre sur carte PCB multicouches afin d'alimenter des réseaux d'antennes LEO. Le design du prototype et les résultats expérimentaux sont détaillés. Le démonstrateur représente des avancées significatives en termes de champ de vision, de nombre de faisceaux adressés et de mise en œuvre à faible coût.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">The future generations of Satcoms satellites need to address both larger bandwidths and the possibility of dynamically relocating onboard resources in time and space. Active high-gain direct radiating antennas are seen as the perfect candidate for addressing such needs. Nevertheless, their architectures have opened new challenges in antenna design.  The main objective of this dissertation is to investigate and develop quasi-optical millimeter-wave beamformers capable of feeding high numbers of direct radiating array elements with multiple beams over wide fields of view while maintaining complexity and power consumption at acceptable levels.  High-frequency models are developed for analyzing quasi-optical beamformers with shaped mirrors in stacked parallel-plate waveguide environments.  It is shown that these models can be used efficiently to synthesize wide-angle two-mirror quasi-optical beamformers.  The novel synthesized beamformer is implemented in multi-layer PCB technology for feeding LEO arrays with multiple beams over wide fields of view in the downlink Ka-band. The resulting design and experimental results are reported. The design represents significant advances in terms of field of view, number of addressed beams and low-cost implementation.</dcterms:abstract>
