Bien que la stratégie de développement d’un traitement unique convenant à tous les patients n’a pas totalement disparu, la volonté de développer des thérapies ciblées pour des populations restreintes de patients prédomine aujourd’hui. Ces thérapies ciblées imposent l’utilisation conjointe de tests compagnons afin d’identifier des biomarqueurs – notamment génétiques – chez les patients. L’arrivée sur le marché de ces tests a nécessité l’adaptation du système d’accès au marché en France. Il présente aujourd’hui de nombreuses limites. Par la mise en perspective du système français avec les systèmes allemand et anglais, l’objectif sera ici de mettre en évidence les problématiques d’accès auxquelles est confronté le couple thérapie ciblée / test compagnon en France ainsi que les solutions pouvant être apportées. Personalised medicine has seen a paradigm shift in the research and development of new therapies in recent years. Although the strategy of developing a single treatment suitable for all patients has not completely disappeared, the desire to develop targeted therapies for restricted patient populations is now predominant. These targeted therapies require the joint use of companion tests in order to identify the biomarkers - notably genetic - in patients. The arrival on the market of those tests has required the adaptation of the market access system in France. It now has many limitations. By putting the French system into perspective with the German and English systems, the objective here is to highlight the issues of access faced by the targeted therapy/companion test couple in France as well as the solutions that can be provided.
