Pour cela, nous avons étudié les réponses à 2 questionnaires, l’un adressé aux chirurgiens-dentistes de Normandie et de Bretagne, l’autre rempli auprès des patients d’Odontologie Pédiatrique des CHU de Rennes et de Caen. Dans le premier questionnaire, nous avons évalué le profil, la région d’exercice, les habitudes de prise en charge des praticiens... Dans le deuxième questionnaire, nous avons étudié le parcours de soins des enfants reçus dans les services hospitaliers d’odontologie. La mise en commun des 2 questionnaires a permis d’évaluer et de comparer les possibilités de prise en charge et les traitements proposés aux patients en fonction de leur région d’origine. Nous avons ainsi constaté que les types de soins prodigués sont équivalents dans les deux régions, mais il existe une plus grande difficulté d’adressage et d’accès aux soins pour des jeunes patients qui ne sont pas encore entrés dans le parcours de soins en Normandie par rapport à la Bretagne. This thesis aims to evaluate the differences in the dental care for children in Brittany and Normandy (France), which are 2 areas with a different density of dental surgeons. In this purpose, we studied the responses to 2 questionnaire surveys, one addressed to dental surgeons in Normandy and Brittany, the other filled out with pediatric dentistry patients from the University Hospitals of Rennes and Caen. In the first questionnaire, we evaluated the profile, the region of exercise, the care habits of the practitioners... In the second questionnaire, we studied the care pathways of the children received in the hospital services of odontology. The pooling of the 2 questionnaires made it possible to evaluate and compare the possibilities of care and the treatments offered to patients according to their region of origin. We have thus found that the types of care provided are equivalent in the two regions, but there is greater difficulty in addressing and accessing care for young patients who have not yet entered the care pathway in Normandy compared to Britain.
