Une nouvelle relation qui nécessite un médecin à l'écoute, pédagogue et disponible. En parallèle de cette transition, de nouveaux acteur tiers pouvant intervenir dans cette relation se sont développés, dont le plus souvent cité est internet. La crise du Covid a été un bouleversement inédit sur le plan sanitaire et propice à un développement de ces acteurs tiers. Cette étude donne la parole à ces patients sur leur ressenti vis à vis de leur relation avec leur médecin traitant dans les suite de la pandémie. Objectif : Explorer et analyser le sentiment et le comportement des patients vis à vis des tiers dans leur relation avec leur médecin traitant et mettre en lumière d'éventuel modification de leur ressenti sur cette relation depuis la pandémie. Méthode : Une étude qualitative par entretiens semi-dirigés a été menée auprès de patients recrutés au sein de cabinets de médecine générale d'Ille-et-Vilaine entre décembre 2022 et avril 2023. Les données ont par la suite été analysées sur le principe de la théorisation ancrée. Résultats : 18 patients ont été interrogés. La population interrogée a confirmée cette transition de modèle qui s'opère chez les jeunes avec un besoin de participer à la décision médicale pour établir une relation de confiance. Ce besoin se traduit par une recherche chez un médecin de qualités de communication et de pédagogie. Des résultats qui se confirment par une utilisation d'internet répandue et avouée chez l’ensemble des patients interrogés, avec un but principal de complément d'informations pour une meilleure compréhension de la pathologie et des traitements. Les autres sources d'informations semblent à ce jour moins répandues dans la population. Bien que très utilisé, on retrouve une parole du médecin traitant qui reste centrale pour le patient, avec un besoin pour ce dernier de pouvoir communiquer sur ces recherches pour une meilleur compréhension. La pandémie, période très anxiogène, a mis en avant une remise en question chez les patients de la parole des médias, des autorités scientifiques et politiques, mais a confirmé la place centrale du médecin traitant dans la transmission des informations. Conclusion : Les patients, bien que recherchant de l'information médicale sur d'autres sources, conservent une confiance solide dans leur médecin traitant et sa parole. Cette crise sanitaire a démontré toute l'importance d'une communication franche et réfléchie, dans laquelle le médecin généraliste conserve une place primordiale auprès des patients. Context : For over 20 years, we have been witnessing a transition in the medical relationship model, from paternalism to the patient as an actor oh his health. This new relationship requires a doctor who listens, teaches and is available. As part of this transition, new third-party players have emerged, the most frequently cited of which is the Internet. The Covid crisis was an unprecedented upheaval on the health front, and has encouraged the development of these third-party players. This study gives these patients the opportunity to express their feelings about their relationship with their GP in the aftermath of the pandemic. Aim : To explore and analyze patients' feelings and behavior towards third parties in their relationship with their GP, and to highlight any changes in their feelings about this relationship since the pandemic. Method : A qualitative study using semi-structured interviews was carried out with patients recruited from general practices in Ille-et-Vilaine between December 2022 and April 2023. Data were then analyzed using grounded theory. Results : 18 patients were interviewed. The population interviewed confirmed the model transition taking place among young people, with a need to participate in medical decision-making in order to establish a relationship of trust. This need translates into a search for communication and teaching skills in a doctor. These results are confirmed by the widespread use of the Internet, which is acknowledged by all the patients questioned, with the main aim of obtaining additional information to better understand their pathology and treatments. Other sources of information appear to be less widespread among the population. Although widely used, the word of the attending physician remains central for the patient, with a need for him to be able to communicate on this research for better understanding. The pandemic, a highly anxiety-provoking period, led patients to question the word of the media and scientific and political authorities, but confirmed the central role of the GP in transmitting information. Conclusion : although patients are seeking medical information from other sources, they still have a solid level of trust in their GP and his word. This health crisis has demonstrated the importance of honnest, well-considered communication, in which the GP retains a key position with patients.
