L’objectif de cette revue de littérature est de montrer l’apport de cette technique aux stratégies de Régénération Osseuse Guidées (ROG) en montrant l’intérêt de la méthode et son application pratique. La recherche bibliographique de cette revue de littérature a été réalisée sur les bases des données PUBMED/MEDLINE et COCHRANE avec les termes MeSH suivants : « screw tenting » OR « tentpole technique » OR « tenting technique » AND « alveolar ridge ». A partir de cette sélection, 16 articles ont été retenus pour rédiger cette revue bibliographique. L’analyse des articles montre que la technique du « screw tenting » permet, dans le cas de défauts osseux alvéolaires de petite ou grande étendue, une régénération osseuse verticale et horizontale satisfaisante permettant le positionnement d’un implant dans de bonnes conditions avec des complications minimes. The “screw tenting” technique provides an additional therapeutic solution in bone regeneration of alveolar bone defects in implantology. The objective of this literature review is to show the contribution of this technique to Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) strategies by showing the interest of the method and its practical application. The bibliographic research of this literature review was carried out on the basis of PUBMED/MEDLINE and COCHRANE data with the following MeSH terms: “screw tenting” OR “tentpole technique” OR “tenting technique” AND “alveolar ridge”. From from this selection, 16 articles were selected to write this bibliographical review. The analysis of the articles shows that the "screw tenting" technique allows, in the case small or large alveolar bone defects, vertical bone regeneration and satisfactory horizontal position allowing the positioning of an implant in good conditions with minimal complications.
