Ainsi la quasi-totalité des régions est aujourd'hui pourvue d’un centre régional de matériovigilance et de réactovigilance. Cette vigilance sanitaire s’appuie sur 3 échelons : national, régional et local. Au sein des établissements de santé les services de matériovigilance traitent les déclarations d’incidents ou risques d’incidents en lien avec les dispositifs médicaux. La qualité et l’exhaustivité de ces déclarations permettent un traitement optimal des incidents par cette vigilance. Il convient d’apporter aux acteurs de terrain une formation adéquate et un appui constant. Un manque de connaissances du circuit, des statuts des produits de santé et des situations relevant de la matériovigilance sont les principaux freins à la déclaration. Une analyse des déclarations au CHU de Rennes de 2017 à 2022 a permis la création d’un “Kit de formation à la matériovigilance”. Avec le soutien de la cellule de gestion des risques du CHU et l’organisation préexistante de “semaine thématique” nous avons pu aller former les professionnels de santé sur le terrain et promouvoir la matériovigilance via 3 ateliers : “Qu’est ce qu’un dispositif médical ?”, “Qu’est-ce qu’une situation de matériovigilance? “, “Comment déclarer ?” Material vigilance has undergone a profound restructuring over the past 10 years. Thus, almost all the regions are now equipped with a regional center of matériovigilance and reactovigilance. This health surveillance is based on three levels: national, regional and local. Within healthcare facilities, the Material Vigilance Services handle reports of incidents or risks of incidents related to medical devices. The quality and completeness of these reports allow an optimal handling of incidents by this vigilance. Adequate training and ongoing support should be provided to those in the field. A lack of knowledge of the circuit, the status of health products and situations related to vigilance are the main obstacles to reporting. An analysis of the reports at the Rennes University Hospital from 2017 to 2022 has led to the creation of a “Training Kit for Material Vigilance”.
