L’hypnothérapie Ericksonienne est une méthode non médicamenteuse, accessible en médecine générale qui pourrait avoir un effet bénéfique sur la dé prescription de ces molécules. Objectif : Réaliser une évaluation exploratoire de l’efficacité de la méthode E2R en mesurant le taux de sevrage de patients traités depuis plus de 3 mois par benzodiazépines, à 12 mois d’un traitement par hypnothérapie selon cette méthode. Méthode : 57 médecins généralistes pratiquant l’hypnothérapie par la méthode E2R ont été sollicités pour inclure sur la base du volontariat des patients répondants aux critères d’inclusion, ayant bénéficié de cette thérapie et ayant été suivi les 12 mois suivants. Résultats : Sur les 73 patients inclus, il est observé un sevrage total en benzodiazépines chez 42 patients soit 57,5 % de la population à 12 mois. Conclusion : L’hypnothérapie par la méthode E2R pourrait avoir un effet bénéfique sur le sevrage en benzodiazépines chez des patients traités au long cours. Introduction : Benzodiazepines are an overused class of drugs that may cause many adverse effects. Ericksonian hypnotherapy is a non-medicinal method, accessible in general practice, which could have a beneficial effect on the withdrawal of these molecules. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of the E2R method by measuring the rate of withdrawal of patients treated for more than 3 months with benzodiazepines, 12 months after an hypnotherapy according to this method. Method: 57 general practicians practicing hypnotherapy by the E2R method were asked to include patients who met the inclusion criteria, who had received this therapy and who had been followed up during 12 months. Results: Out of the 73 patients included, total benzodiazepine withdrawal was observed in 42 patients, i.e. 57.5% of the population at 12 months. Conclusion: Hypnotherapy with the E2R method could have a beneficial effect on benzodiazepine withdrawal in patients treated long-term.
