     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les champignons pathogènes sont responsables dans la grande majorité des cas d’infections fongiques superficielles. Toutefois, ces infections peuvent être invasives, c’est le cas de la levure Cryptococcus neoformans, qui cause des méningites graves, surtout chez les patients immunodéprimés. De nombreuses limites aux traitements existent : les résistances, le développement de nouveaux antifongiques, l’absence de vaccin. Les vésicules extracellulaires, produites par tous les organismes vivants, semblent être de bons candidats à la vaccination. En effet, ces particules ne possèdent pas de capacité réplicative et leur utilisation ne nécessite pas l’utilisation d’adjuvant. Même si la structure des vésicules fongiques reste à explorer, leurs propriétés immunogènes sont particulièrement intéressantes. Des équipes de chercheurs ont montré que l’injection de VEs avant l’infection à Candida albicans et Cryptococus neoformans protégeait les souris d’une infection mortelle.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Pathogenic fungi are responsible of superficial infections most of the time. However, these infections can be invasive, like infections by Cryptococcus neoformans. It’s a yeast responsible of serious meningitis, especially in immunocompromised people. Many limitations in actual antifungal treatments are to be noted : resistances, complexity of development of new antifungals, lack of vaccine. Extracellular vesicles, produced by all living organisms, seems to be good candidates to vaccination. In fact, these particles haven’t got any replicative capacity and their utilization don’t need any adjuvant. Even if the structure of fungal extracellular vesicles stays to be explored, their immunogenic properties are particularly interesting. Searchers have shown that injection of EVs before infection to Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans protect mice from a lethal infection.</dcterms:abstract>
