A elles deux, elles sont responsables d’environ 5,3 millions de décès dans le monde. Dans les pays industrialisés, le niveau de sédentarité continue d’augmenter à tout âge et a de nombreux effets néfastes sur la santé (obésité, diabète de type 2, hypertension artérielle, cancers, troubles psychiques et musculo-squelettiques). La sédentarité est un mode de vie, un facteur de risque modifiable que nous pouvons tenter de réduire. Pour cela, la prévention peut être une solution. La pharmacie d’officine accueille chaque jour de nombreux patients de tout âge auprès desquels nous pouvons agir. Le pharmacien pourra sensibiliser ses patients via des affiches de prévention, la distribution de flyers, des conseils au comptoir, des entretiens personnalisés. Il y aura la possibilité de cibler certains groupes de patients en fonction de l’âge, du sexe, des comorbidités.
