Afin de prévenir et d’anticiper les conséquences de cette maladie, le parcours de soin a été repensé au fil des années dans l’objectif d’améliorer la qualité de vie du patient. Réelle problématique de santé publique, la prise en charge du diabète englobe aujourd’hui tous les aspects du malade : activité physique, alimentation, éducation thérapeutique, pédagogie des règles hygièno-diabétique. Afin de compléter cet arsenal thérapeutique, des solutions technologiques et innovantes ont fait leur apparition dans le marché de la santé. Les objets connectés et la télémedecine ont permis une amélioration considérable de la prise en charge ambulatoire du diabète. Le patient diabétique actuel est acteur de sa maladie. Diabetes is a chronic metabolic pathology affecting an increasing number of new patients each year. In order to prevent and anticipate the consequences of this disease, the care pathway has been rethought over the years with the aim of improving the patient's quality of life. As a real public health issue, diabetes management today encompasses all aspects of the patient: physical activity, diet, therapeutic education, and teaching of hygienic-diabetic rules. In order to complete this therapeutic arsenal, technological and innovative solutions have appeared in the health market. Connected objects and telemedicine have enabled a considerable improvement in the ambulatory management of diabetes. Today's diabetic patient is an actor of its disease.
