     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">La dissection aortique de type B non compliquée représente un véritable enjeu décisionnel pour le clinicien. En effet ces patients justifient du traitement médical optimal mais malgré ce traitement environ 30% présenteront une évolution anévrysmale justifiant d’une correction chirurgicale ou endovasculaire. La méthode de suivi consiste à répéter les investigations cliniques et d’imagerie. La simulation numérique pourrait apporter des informations supplémentaires de manière non-invasive pour affiner les décisions. Nous avons ainsi développé une méthode de segmentation de l’aorte disséquée spécifique au patient, implémenté des simulations fluides de référence, qui restent cependant coûteuses en temps de calcul. Ce modèle est ensuite réduit de manière à calculer rapidement les contraintes de pression en modifiant des critères permettant de simuler des scenarii cliniques différents. Ces travaux nous laissent imaginer la possibilité d’un jumeau numérique aortique sur lequel différentes conditions peuvent être simulées.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Uncomplicated type B aortic dissection remain a decisional challenge for physicians. Such patients may benefit from optimal medical therapy but about 30% of them will undergo a surgical or endovascular correction due to aneurysmal evolution. Actual follow-up consists in repeated clinical and radiological exams. CFD may add new information that could be useful for decision. We developed a semi-automatic method for segmentation of patient-specific dissection, then implemented a CFD model with close-loop boundary conditions. Then we reduced that model to let fast calculations and iterations modifying input criteria thus simulate different clinical scenario.
Such works let us imagine an aortic digital twin in which we could apply and simulate various clinical conditions.</dcterms:abstract>
