Une démarche palliative doit ainsi être intégrée au parcours de soin du patient parkinsonien afin de répondre à ses besoins évolutifs. Intégré au projet « Apo-Pallia » (EA 4712, CIC 1414), ce travail de thèse regroupait quatre objectifs : (1) établir un état des lieux des connaissances et pratiques encadrant la prise en charge des patients parkinsoniens en fin de vie au sein des unités de soins palliatifs de Bretagne, (2) identifier les besoins spécifiques des soignants et des patients (selon les soignants) au travers de questionnaires semi-directifs menés en présentiel au sein des unités, (3) analyser les données issues de cette recherche-action et (4) proposer des marges d’optimisation à l’ensemble des acteurs encadrant cette prise en charge palliative du patient parkinsonien, avec, notamment, l’organisation pluridisciplinaire d’une journée d’échange et de formation autour de cette thématique (Novembre 2020).  To date, there is no curative treatment for Parkinson’s disease (PD). A palliative approach must therefore be integrated into the parkinsonian patient's care program in order to meet their evolving needs.
