Le trafic de médicaments falsifiés est en plein essor, il n’épargne aucun pays et représente donc un réel danger pour tous les patients. L’essor de ce trafic s’appuie entre autres sur le développement d’internet au niveau mondial et en particulier sur la vente de médicaments en ligne. La lutte contre le trafic de médicaments falsifiés doit se poursuivre à travers des actions coordonnées et internationales, une meilleure harmonisation des réglementations pharmaceutiques et des sanctions pénales ainsi qu’une meilleure intégration des patients. Tant que toutes ces mesures ne seront pas suffisamment appliquées, le trafic des médicaments falsifiés perdurera et prospérera, continuant à être un danger pour tous les patients. The falsified medicines by their unknown composition and their potential toxicity constitutes a serious threat for the public health. The traffic of falsified medicines is on the rise, it spares no country and represents a genuine danger for all patients. The rise of this traffic is based among other things on the spread of internet worldwide and especially on the online selling of medicines. The struggle against the traffic of falsified medicines must go on through coordinated and international operations, a better harmonization of pharmaceutical regulations and criminal sanctions as well as a better integration of patients. For as long as all those measures will not be sufficiently applied, the traffic of falsified medicines will remain and will thrive, continuing to be a threat for all patients.
