L'année 2018 signe un tournant dans la prise en charge de la maladie avec la mise sur le marché d'antiviraux à action directe pangénotypiques. Ces nouveaux traitements permettent une guérison chez plus de 95% des patients avec une très bonne tolérance. Associés à la décision de l'accès universel au traitement, ces nouvelles thérapeutiques offrent des perspectives nouvelles : l’éradication de la maladie d'ici 2025 en France et 2030 dans le monde. On estime qu'il reste 75 000 personnes à dépister et 110 000 personnes à traiter. Tous les acteurs de santé doivent se mobiliser pour atteindre cet objectif ambitieux et lever les derniers obstacles. Les pharmaciens d'officine ont également un rôle qu'il reste à définir dans la délivrance des traitements, l'information et le conseil et certainement le dépistage et l’adressage des patients.  Hepatitis C is a major public health problem that particularly affects drug users and people in precarious situations. The year 2018 marks a turning point in the management of the disease with the launch on the market of pangenotypic direct-acting antivirals. These new treatments allow healing in more than 95% of patients with a very good tolerance. Associated with the decision of universal access to treatment, these new therapies offer new perspectives: the eradication of the disease by 2025 in France and 2030 in the world. It is estimated that 75,000 people remain to be screened and 110,000 to be treated. All health actors must mobilize to achieve this ambitious goal and remove the remaining obstacles.
