Dans le cas des patients sourds, une communication patient-praticien est plus délicate du fait de la situation de handicap partagé. Cette difficulté a été fréquemment soulevée dans les travaux antérieurs et, plus particulièrement, sur la notion de temps fortement liée au langage et aux références socio-culturelles. Ce travail de recherche propose d’abord une réflexion sur l’origine des incompréhensions entre patient sourd et soignant. Le fruit de cette analyse a conduit à l’élaboration d’un outil informatique Pi-sourd générateur de frises chronologiques. Les résultats sont présentés sous forme d’un guide d’utilisation du logiciel détaillant ses fonctionnalités. Une évaluation de son utilisation en situation concrète de consultation est nécessaire pour l’amélioration de la prise en charge des patients sourds. For each and every patient, the notion of time is a primary data when it comes to the plan treatment explanation. In the case of deaf patients, the communication established with the practitioner can be tricky due to the shared disability in the language. This difficulty has been often met in previous works and, especially, about the notion of time that is deeply intricate to the language and the social and cultural backgrounds. This research first suggests a reasoning thought about the causes of misunderstandings on time related data between deaf patient and practitioner. The outcome lead to the elaboration of a computing tool generating timelines for deaf patients. The results are presented in a detailed user manual of the software. The rating of this tool in a real clinical situation is necessary to improve deaf patients’ medical care.
