Un cas clinique présente la restauration prothétique d’une incisive latérale à partir d’un implant ostéo-intégré en position trop apicale associé à un parodonte affaibli. La patiente refusant toute nouvelle intervention chirurgicale, un compromis utilisant des artifices pour la gestion prothétique supra-implantaire a été trouvé. La patiente présentait un sourire gingival asymétrique dévoilant totalement les prothèses. Pour obtenir un résultat esthétique, une réflexion particulière a été portée sur le choix des matériaux utilisés aux différentes étapes de la conception. L’usage de gencive artificielle est une solution de remplacement prothétique à la chirurgie permettant le rétablissement d’une architecture gingivale répondant aux critères esthétiques. The wrong three-dimensional position of an implant makes the prosthetic design problematic, especially in the anterior area where aesthetics prevail. The clinical case presents the prosthetic rehabilitation of a lateral incisor from an osseointegrated implant too apical associated with a weakened periodontal support. The patient refused any further surgery, and a compromise using artifices for supra-implant prosthetic management was decided. The patient presented an asymmetrical gummy smile that completely revealed the prosthesis. In order to obtain an aesthetic result, special consideration was given to the choice of materials used at different stages of the design. The use of artificial gingiva is a prosthetic alternative to surgery allowing the restoration of a gingival architecture meeting the aesthetic criteria.
